New Customer
Only what OSOS requires before it will save the record. Everything else about the customer is entered on the Customer Detail windows once the record exists — legacy OSOS instead refuses to save until every tab is complete, which is why staff are told to type “N/A” into fields that do not apply.
Identity
Record status
These two do nothing on this record. They are CareerZone credentials, and a JobZone Adult portfolio does not use them — the ESD guide puts it plainly: “these fields are no longer functional, but data must be entered here to complete the customer record.” Required, inert, and typed by every caseworker in the state. OSOS also shows the password in clear text; its own guides print sample values.

Employment Plan
OSOS pre-fills this with the literal string TO BE UPDATED, which has to be replaced before the record meets the Employability Profile measure — and the ESD guide tells staff to type N/A when there is nothing to say. Both are real instructions in current guides. This box takes an empty answer instead.
Achievement Objectives
A youth service cannot be recorded until one of these exists — OSOS enforces the order but does not explain it, so staff meet the rule as an error message.
